I’ve searched intently on this fabulous painting but drawn a blank - I think it’s more than likely a lithograph rather than an actual painting - canvas stuck onto wooden - it’s very old the rear signifies it’s age - even an old Chain to hang it from. The frame is fabulous in green patina over gold and just adds to its charm

More than likely antique dating from at Least the turn of the century it features a little girl sat - head cocked (at a slightly creepy angle) on a cane bergere chair which dates it to circa 19th C originally. She’s In a frilly white short dress with peach sash, sat on a leopard print fur that’s draped over the chair

Barefooted ankles crossed brown waved hair the colours are still stunning

There is some signs of wear and tear to the canvas but nothing detrimental and the frame again shows it’s age and use

This is beguiling and a mystery that deserves to be seen hung on a grand wall a feature and talking point and has rather a creepy gothic air to it

It’s immense - coke can for proportion and measures

31” x 39” so it would have to be collection only due to this

It’s very heavy great as a prop
