I purchased this in the 1990's with the intention of running it on an HO layout that I never built.

So this nice loco has been stored in its box on a closet shelf in my smoke free home for all this time.

As you can see in the pictures the loco is in brand new condition with the parts and instructions in the box as it came from the factory.

I tested this loco on a 3 ft piece of track by running it back and forth about a half dozen times. It runs just fine. The cab/headlight works, too.

The box is in very good condition with some fading and wear marks but otherwise solid.
