A
small octagonal tin with illustrations on the sides of fashionable Victorian
and Edwardian ladies. Four ladies in hats are shown in roundels on the lift-off
lid. All appear on a cream background.
‘The nostalgia for turn-of-the-century styles reflected in this
tin recalls the 'Cameo' tin of 1979-1980. That tin used Victorian and Edwardian
paper-cuts and some of the images used here look as if they could have started
life in a similar form. Manufactured by Huntley Boorne & Stevens using
