Epiphone Hummingbird Studio

About this guitar:
This guitar came directly from Epiphone to my supplier, it has never been sold retail.  The guitar was inspected and tested by a factory authorized technician.  All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs.  When we polished the guitar we found some very light scratches on the side of the guitar.  They are very light and can only be seen if the light hits at an angle.  I have included a picture pointing to them.

Solid Spruce Tonewood
The Hummingbird Studio acoustic-electric features a solid spruce top. Spruce is a rich and complex tonewood that begins to breathe and improve with age. The more you play, the better it sounds. The body and neck are made from select mahogany. The Hummingbird Studio neck has a classic SlimTaper D profile and features a 24.75" scale and is attached to the body with a glued-in dovetail joint. The rosewood fingerboard has pearloid parallelogram inlays, 20 medium frets, a 12" radius and a 1.68" nut. There is single-ply white binding on the fingerboard and 5-ply white & black binding on the body top while the back of the body has single-ply white binding. The Hummingbird Studio has the classic sloped dovewing headstock has the "Epiphone" logo in white.

The Hummingbird Studio acoustic-electric's reverse belly rosewood bridge has a compensated saddle for smooth action and intonation. The classic Hummingbird/flower tortoiseshell-style pickguard is easy to spot on stage or across a room.

The Hummingbird Studio is amplified via its Fishman Sonitone preamp and Sonicore pickup system.

FAQ, frequently asked questions
 

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.

Unless otherwise stated, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.  Email first for return authorization.  Buyer pays return shipping and insurance.  All items must be in the same condition as when they were sold, and returned in the original packing.
