Description

This guitar came directly from LAG to my supplier, it has never been sold retail.   The guitar was inspected and tested by a factory authorized technician.  All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs.  When we polished the guitar we did not find any finish blemishes.  We did find some areas on the back and sides where the gloss finish has very small bumps, these likely occurred when the gloss finish was drying.  I attempted to take a picture but they will not show in a picture, and can only be seen when the light shines at an angle.  Obviously because of their location no one is ever going to see them when you are playing.

Here is what LAG says about the THV30 "Smart" Guitar:

The award winning Lâg HyVibe THV30DCE, a flagship model Smart Guitar, combines world-class lutherie with the revolutionary HyVibe System. The HyVibe System allows you to self-amplify the guitar with built-in effects, create loops, and even transform it into a Bluetooth speaker. This instrument will inspire you to play more music at home, at the beach, or on the stage. Whether jamming over streamed backing tracks, creating your own effects with our mobile app, or using the looper to work on new solo melodies, you will not want to put the Lâg HyVibe down! The THV30 features a solid Engelmann spruce top, and ovangkol back & sides.

Here are a couple of reviews of the HiVibe:

I’ve had my Lag HyVibe for about a week now and there is no turning back for me. The build and quality of tone is excellent. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The battery life is great, charged it once and still on that charge. The sound quality and decibel level the guitar produces is actually surprisingly strong. I’ve made great use of playing a song via Bluetooth, adding a loop with effect, and lead with separate effect. This guitar is also very comfortable and just looks stunning. I very well might purchase another.

Having owned this guitar for just over 8 months, I can honestly say it’s been an incredible source of creative inspiration. As someone who loves to improvise, the looper function and the bluetooth connectivity give me the opportunity to experiment with my compositional ideas in an instant! No mic setups, no connecting to a computer, simply switch on and play.

I’ve owed a lot of great guitars over the years, however the guys at HyVibe are true innovators

FAQ, frequently asked questions

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.

What identifies an instrument as being refurbished?  Most manufacturers requires that all refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock.  This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
