Maker: This pretty blue, pink and white cup and saucer set is marked with the backstamp of the Colclough company of Staffordshire, England.

Colclough has been producing beautiful china since its founding in Stoke-on-Trent in 1890. The company moved to Longton in the early 1900s and in 1948, Booths and Adderley became part of Colclough. Colclough then merged with the iconic Ridgway company in the early 1950s. The combined firm became part of Royal Doulton in the early 1970s and the Colclough brand was discontinued in 1996.

Size: The cup is 3 1/4 inches across at the opening and 2 5/8 inches tall. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter.

Condition: Both pieces are in excellent condition with no nicks, marks, scratches, cracks, crazing or repairs. There are a few small gold marks created in the manufacturing process.

This set is a lovely expression of Staffordshire quality and design and would make a fine addition to any collection of Colclough or other beautiful objects.

Please check all the very photos carefully - they are an important part of the description.
