Rare original LaSalle winged shield enamel radiator badge emblem insignia nameplate logo. The LaSalle was an early Harley Earl design, built as a companion car to the Cadillac by General Motors from 1927 to 1940 in Detroit. Online research indicates that this type of emblem was used from 1927 to 1930 but I do not know exact year, model or application for this example. Badges like these were made using the champleve or guilloche process of heat bonding melted glass to a copper base which was then plated. 5 1/8" wide by 1 3/4" high, blue, black, gold, and translucent red enamel with chrome plating. No makers mark visible. Very good to excellent used but restored condition, no damage or visible wear, perfect enamel and shiny plating, all three original mounting studs are intact. Hard to find, great for your collection or use as is on a restored car. U.S. buyers will pay $10.40 Priority shipping, International shipping cost will vary based on location. NO RESERVE.
