Offered here is this original, Chelsea Boston ship's clock with a 6" dial in its original heavy brass and glass case. That case was mounted in a wooden ship's wheel case. The owners must have tired of the maritime theme, so they sawed off the handles from the ships wheel, leaving only a round wooden frame, which you see here.  The serial number of the clock on the back of the case indicated that the clock was made around 1942, making this one of the last non-military, wartime Chelsea clocks made before all of their output was contracted by the US government until 1945.  The dial is marked Kelvin-White Co. Boston-New York. Kelvin-White was an early retailer/ purveyor of nautical items. This clock is in good running condition. It is time only, no strike. It winds completely and runs for more than a week on a single wind. It keeps good time. The key is a replacement, but is the correct size key.  The wood frame is easily removed with three screws in the back.  It is a great looking clock!  Offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting bid. Buyer to pay USPS ground advantage post (15.00) Combined postage for multiple purchases. Three-day inspection/return on all items I offer, if not as described.  Thanks
