I believe these lovely six Berry or Dessert Bowls were made by The Paden City Pottery Company in the 1950s. The design includes a pink flower in the middle of each dish. The pattern is called, "Modern Orchid". They also have a 22K Gold band around the rim and were made in U.S.A. The bottom of one bowl includes the number M-53. Four bowls are marked A-55 and also include the words, "Oven Proof". On the last bowl, the number is unclear, but may be C-54. Possibly those are the years that particular dish was made. Each bowl measures about 5.25" at the rim and stands about 1.5" tall. Condition is very good! One bowl has a thin white line through the tip of a leaf, which may be a scratch in the design. I do not see any chips or cracks. Beautiful dishes. Bid now to add these treasures to your dinnerware collection! I am selling these for an elderly, disabled friend who needs to raise money buy a whole house generator for her medical equipment.
