SOUTHERN Railroad came along in the late 1800's as a result of a number of shorter lines joining the largest being the East Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia. 

Ande Rooney porcelain advertising signs bring to life images of America from the turn of the century onward. These "made in the U.S.A." reproductions are handmade using a process popularized in the early 1900's, slight variations in the colors, and texture are to be expected.
