One of two paintings I’m listing by the same artist both unique and quirky and very well executed.

Oil on board - board that has a dimpled effect to it. This one is of a man in a beret painting a still life of a jug and flowers/fruit etc - there’s the room in the background with a painting on the wall and buildings seen through the window it’s so well painted it will not disappoint

The same gilt frames used for both paintings and the back leads me to think they are early 20th Century at least as they show their age by the patina - plus his clothing is fairly old school but this is only a guess!

Signed lower right and I can only decipher part of it - JOHN C… could be Carson, Cooper, Cotton?

Frame is in good used condition and the whole piece is in good condition no rips chips or tears or paint missing
