The KR-11 is the latest addition to the Korg Rhythm Box series, which began with Japan's first rhythm box, the “Donkamatic,” released in 1963. The KR-11 is a pop, portable rhythm box with 126 different rhythm patterns that can be easily operated by simply turning the genre knob and pressing the variation button, bringing new enjoyment to your instrumental practice and performance. The KR-11 is battery-powered, lightweight, and compact. The built-in speaker makes it easy to play a wide variety of rhythms and phrases on the spot. In addition to basic patterns such as 8-beat and 16-beat, the KR-11 also includes “Island” for ukulele players and “Blues/R&B” and “Country” for guitar players. In addition to three-beat patterns, more complex five- and seven-beat patterns are also included, and a swing function allows the user to vary each pattern to expand the range of variations. A metronome function is also included for basic practice.
