Fresh from a local Rye New York estate, w eoffer you this nice large Antique Spindle Carved Mahogany CANTERBURY Stand / MAGAZINE RACK Holder. Featuring a large handle in the center, flanked with two magazine / book compartments. Standing on four spindle carved legs, matching the "bird cage" center section. Made in United States or England in 2nd quarter of 20th century, good quality. Condition is good overall, solid sturdy construction, shows moderate age / use wear (please see photos). Size is great to fit in any room, house or an apartment at 19.5" tall to the top of the handle in the center, 18" to corner finials, 18.25" wide and 11.25" across. Nice useful piece, no home should be without.
