Stunning antique 1920s dress in a rare fringed beaded style

Despite how popular culture associates fringe and the 1920s, few fringed examples have survived due to the heavy nature of the beads and the fragile nature of the silk. This one appears to have survived well because of the early rayon crepe fabric used

The beading is also in fantastic condition with very little bead loss

One darned hole as shown

Has not been washed (obviously. And I do NOT recommend washing)

The beaded fringe and swag motifs are done in silvered black beads

The “waistband” and bust details resemble a peacock’s feathers arranged like a tiara in blue, green, and red beads

Very beautiful example of this period of fashion

Has snaps on one shoulder and snaps at the flutter sleeves to give you the option of two sleeve styles

Up to 46” bust

40” dropped waist

50” hips

45” shoulder to hem
