This vintage SEPT Paris movie camera from Societe Francaise Andre Debrie is a restoration candidate for someone who wants a piece of history.   At manufacture, it had multiple functions, including still camera, cine camera, projector, and more, make it a versatile piece for any photography history enthusiast. Made in France. Societe Francaise Andre Debrie.

History lesson:  It was named SEPT because of its 7 uses:

Details of this particular camera:  Model Number T7847 engraved on the body.  Comes with SEPT film cannister.  Unsure if there is a cannister inside the body. The main issue is not being able to open the film chamber because of the loose knobs.   Lens is 50/3.5 is mounted on a focusing helical H Roussel Paris 40669 Stylor on the lens.  There is a motor housing (from my reading history of the camera) & I have not tried to disconnect it from the main body (somehow the square key comes into play) or even know the function / how to operate.  You will surely need an instruction manual to figure out how all the features worked on this camera.

For all the above comments and comments/photos trying to portray condition accurately and for you to know what you are getting,  Look at photos carefully.  I am selling AS IS and FOR PARTS only.  You are buying a vintage piece of 35mm history (first 35mm camera in the US sold, I have read) on a camera that had multiple features too numerous to figure out by me.  It may or may not work as manufactured.
