This vintage Hustler Toy Corporation wooden pull toy features a charming watchdog in a cozy dog house. Made in the 1920s, this antique toy is sure to delight collectors and enthusiasts alike. The dog moves into and out of his house as it is pulled. All original except for nails that hold dog house to platform.   Some paint loss to wood and metal alike.

The Frantz Manufacturing Company was started in 1909 by Peter Frantz. In 1925, Hustler Toy Company was created as a subsidiary of Frantz Manufacturing, to implement this change, on some toys they simply added new decals for Hustler and the decals of this period can be found with the Hustler decal over the Frantz logos. In the late 1920’s, they also took over the Toylander Corporation who was also manufacturing toys in Sterling, Illinois. The Hustler Toy Company stopped manufacturing toys in 1934
