The Babe was a big deal in Japan and he was frequently photographed for Japanese Magazines

Asahi Sports was a prewar publication. The really nice thing is for the pictures, the explanations would be in both Japanese AND English. Very cool. These are large sized magazines (think Life magazine.. Maybe even bigger.
There is some serious age related staining on the outside but it is much more in control on the inside
