You are looking at two pieces of memorabilia from the legendary 1988 flop musical CARRIE.
Based on Stephen King's novel, Pitchford and Gore's show has become the touchstone by which Broadway disasters are measured. With a total of sixteen previews and five actual performances, this musical is a legend.
Included in this lot are:
- Souvenir program - full color, all glossy. Minor surface wear, but the interior is A+
- Playbill - full color cover for opening night, May 12, 1988. Minor age discoloration (yellowing of white edge), but excellent color and tight construction.
(If you're interested in my other CARRIE lot including the window card, please check my other auction!)
Quite simply, these items do not come up in this condition. The quality of these items, especially considering the 36-year age of them, is superb. These come from my personal collection.
