The obverse of the 2022 Treasured Maple Leaf coin showcases the bust of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Susanna Blunt. Her Majesty is displayed wearing her royal earrings and necklace. Radial lines flow from the center of the background towards the coin's rim. Inscriptions include the Queen’s name, the denomination, and the year of mintage.

The reverse features a beautifully minted Maple Leaf. A micro-engraved maple leaf located at the bottom of the coin provides an extra layer of security. Inscriptions for purity, country, and weight surround the edge of the coin.
