The Chevrolet Corvette Mako Shark was a  futuristic concept car designed by Larry Shinoda for General Motors. The lines that inspired the car was from a Mako Shark that Bill Mitchell the Head of Design at GM caught off the coast of Florida while fishing. Only two of the concepts were ever made one was a $3 million "Pusher" it didn't move under it's own power. The Mako Shark is considered by some to be the most influential Corvette prototype ever created.
