Aiwa M800B Stereo Cassette Deck with Rare Aiwa Remote and Extras

I have had it all of its life. I have had it serviced over the years. It was most recently serviced around 2021 by FET Electronics in LA.

It has Aiwa's computer controlled data system that tests the tape to maximize the recordings you make on the tape. I included a couple of adverts about this machine.

This is the rare black color with rack ears. I also have an OEM Aiwa remote.

I include 3 unopened NOS cassette tapes to help you relive those old school days of unwrapping a new tape to record to. ;-)

3M BLACKWATCH Metal tape
PDMagnetics Metal tape
TDK High Bias (Chrome) tape

I include a video showing the data system working ( ends with green 'OK' lamp to denote the test was successful). I also will include a link to see the machine recording from a DCC 900 deck ( I am selling that as well). This is just to show the unit works and records. It won't win any oscar awards in production, but you should get the idea that it works. :)

I hate to see it go, but I just don't use it and these mechanical machines need to be used or they will die. I hope it can go to a good home that can also appreciate its vintage status! It's classic 80s!!!

It is a vintage piece of gear and is being sold as-is. Please and feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I am only happy to answer!

This deck is heavy so packing it will require extra padding. I will add shipping insurance and signature required for this item.

Deck will be double boxed for your pleasure. ;-)

If you are local to LA we can take care of this in person.

======

A video to show the deck recording from my DCC 900. I then play back the recording and use the remote.
