Philips DCC 900 Digital Compact Cassette Recorder Player - DCC Museum Restored - with extras

EDIT -- I have been asked if the machine can record, and yes it can. Whilst we are all strangers, you'd rather see it than take my word for it, :) so I made two videos -- one uses the analog input to do a test record, and the second one is using the optical input.

In doing this, I begrudgingly had to open up one of the sealed tapes in order to do these tests. I hope you will understand this was worth the time in doing so, so you can rest assured the machine is working normally.

***On the optical input video, I rotated the phone into landscape halfway into the video so I had to edit the video so it rotates properly! Don't sass me for my video skills!! :) ***

EDIT -- This machine has been fully restored. In case some of you have never heard of DCC Museum or what they do to restore these machines, here is a video you can smoke over at your leisure --

The process is, when you purchase a NEW OLD STOCK DCC 900 from them, only after the sale will they open up the machine and replace the parts that need to be replaced. I have attached photos of the inside of the machine so you can see it looks as it just stepped out of the factory back in 1994! :)

I bought this NOS direct from the DCC Museum, where they restored the caps and gave it an overall good bill of health. I have always had these machines and got one when they first appeared back in the 90s. I am selling this one as I just am not using it and these machines should be used.

I am including some brand new unused and unopened DCC tapes, as well as some goodies from the DCC Museum:

- Johnny Guitar Watson Deluxe Box Set. Unopened
- The Neville Brothers - Yellow Moon
- DCC Museum T-Shirt - Medium size

EDIT - I had a question asked, if the machine records, and yes it does - to DCC tapes only. Also the unwrapped, unopened blank DCC media you see in the photos ( 8 blank tapes) are also included, if this is not clear.

I have the original box, original paperwork that came with the box, as well as the remote.

Here is a simple video showing the unit playing an actual DCC tape. Most DCC decks on eBay can only play a cassette. Many of these decks can't play DCC tapes because the caps have leaked , causing the output to  not work.
