Antique/vintage 1960's - 1970's Copper Lampshade. This was hanging in our kitchen when I was born in 1970, and I believe it to be of Danish design and manufacture (but I can't be 100% sure). My mother was a Dane, and much of the furnishings and fittings in our house were gifts from my parents' wedding, which was held in Denmark, in 1969.

I think it looks exactly like this one: https://www.chairish.com/product/3842817/nova-pendant-lamp-by-jo-hammerborg-for-fog-mrup-1960s?epik=dj0yJnU9M1dTODN1WnJNbjZmaWNEX2VpYUVPSEVnckRvN0JjeGUmcD0wJm49VHhhUzJsRGM3cVg4Vk5mV1h1MDhVUSZ0PUFBQUFBR1pVYThB

The design is very similar to the outdoor lights that are dotted around Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.

It features a copper tube on the wire with a screw on it, which is fixed into a joist, and the lamp hangs from this. The tube looks to be adjustable along the length of the wire, with a knurled screw-type grip collar.

The lamp fitting is bayonet-type, and the cable is 3-core with live, neutral, and earth wires.

The lamp is approximately 40 centimetres in diameter.

This could easily be rewired and repurposed for hanging in an outdoor dining area or BBQ hut.
