Here is a beautiful Art Nouveau cachepot / planter produced by Longchamp, France in the late 19th century. 'Terre de Fer' is a hard earthenware developed in 1860, made with feldspar clay and kaolin.

The planter has a vibrant design of flowers, hand painted on earthy tones of green and brown.

The planter is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. It has an impressed design number 1417 on the base, along with a slightly obscured Longchamp Terre De Fer mark.
