This is a 2 map set of the Town of Grafton, MA from 1870. Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.

The pictures provided show only a portion of each actual map.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of  Grafton as well as the towns or villages of North Grafton (was North Grafton), Millbury, Fisherville, Saundersville, South Grafton, Axtel Corner and Farnumsville. The first map (shown) is that of the downtown or business area of Grafton and there is also an inset map of the village of Saundersville.  The second map shows the entire township of Grafton along with the towns or villages of North Grafton Farnumsville, Millbury, Fisherville and Axtel Corner . Two views on two maps-- Nice set!!

Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Leland, Stockwell, Lincoln, Adams, Drury, Farwell, Baker, Bigelow, Griggs, Fisk, White, Whitney, Saunders, Putnam and so many more that it's impossible to list! The names shown are indeed very small yet can be read. Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.

It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors!
