FROM "QUADRUPEDS DE LA FRANCE"

This fine series of exquisite engravings of French animals, with original hand colouring, comes from a famous work by Buchoz published in Paris in 1782.

Buchoz was one of the prominant French engravers of his time.

The engravings are in superb original condition (one has a frayed bottom edge) with full margins.   They are on laid watermarked paper.

This engraving is titled "Le Phoque ou Veau Marin" (Baby seal)
