Pair of very unique pigeon blood vases with handpainted scenes.  The mountains have abalone or mother of pearl inset into them.  I'm not sure of the material but it seems to be a very heavy ceramic but almost resembles metal.  Their shapes are so unique.  I hope the pictures capture that.  I could not find a mark but they are totally awesome and probably valuable.   The condition is very good with some wear on the patina(lack of shine) - but no cracks or restorations.  There are also a couple minute knicks in the paint but too small to capture.  They may just be flaws.  The color is richer & darker than the picture shows.
