Product Description:
The Linear model MDT-1A is a one main front button with second small top button one channel visor style gate or garage door opener remote control radio transmitter part number DNT00052A. This Linear MDT-1A visor remote works with the Linear garage door openers that have a learn button as well as the MegaCode gate opener radio receivers. The Mega Code format of remote controls are factory pre-programmed with one of over 1,000,000 codes for each button, virtually eliminating the possibility of code duplication. This slim style version remote control can control one device using either the main front button or the second top button as they both send the same code. All the Linear MegaCode versions of remote controls feature a 10 second timeout that shuts down the remote until the button is released. This feature not only saves the battery but also prevents re-activation or the door or gate in the event that the button is accidentally held down. Since there are no code switches with this type or remote, it has to be programmed to the radio receiver or garage door opener for it to work. The Linear MDT-1A visor remote control has superior range over the standard MegaCode remotes and can control one gate receiver or Linear garage door opener that uses the MegaCode remotes. This item comes in a plastic bag and includes visor clip, top button cover, batteries (installed) and remote instructions. For programming refer to the radio receiver or garage door openers instructions or contact us for assistance.

NOTE: This is the standard model remote and not the block code version used with programmable system.
The standard versions typically have an A at the end of the model number and all the block code versions have a B at the end of the model number.
This remote will not work with the Delta-3 series of remotes that use code switches.
