TECH TIP:

Experience varies, so if your relatively new at cable changes, before removing your existing cables, check the routing and memorize it / take a picture.

Save the old cables for reference when cutting the outer cables to the correct length.

If outer cable end is "pinched" when cut, use a suitable tool to prise open carefully (if not of course a pair of bike cable cutters).

Tension your cable when fitted and attach to your anchor point / bolt.

Trim the inner cable, to around "2 finger widths to 40mm) - Fit a Cable end crimp to prevent your inner cable from fraying.
