Our whistles are tuned exactly to the prototype used on steam locomotives and are designed to be mouth blown.

They may be blown by compressed air or steam at 10-20 psi.

They are threaded with a 3/8 NPT female thread.

These are ideal for live steam and a great gift for the train lover.

Dimensions: 9 3/4" Tall and 2" in Diameter

Stephen A. Mintz Co. produced these 5 chime aluminum train whistles during the 70s and 80s. 

Steve and his sons (Mintz Whistles) have restarted production earlier this year and now have available our famous whistles.

These whistles are new production and are identical to our previous production line.
