This is a brand new (NOT REBUILT) Garrett stock replacement turbo for your B5.5 TDI Passat with BHW engine code from 2004-2005.
Also comes with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty from Garrett for any failures due to workmanship when professionally installed and when using correct oil. Garrett will check to make sure there is no oil contamination or lack of lubrication before they will approve a warranty. Change your oil when you do the turbo, if you're running Shell Rotella it was probably the cause of your turbo failure. We like OEM Liquimoly (the factory oil) or Pentosin oils, both of which are 5W-40 505.01.
