NICE NEW GRIPS FITTED IN A JIFFY"
Removing old grips or even adding new ones can be a chore to some. Simply part your old grip from the handlebar a little, with a thin flat screwdriver or similar ( if you’re a little “kack” handed and likely to damage anything!) and apply something like WD40 down its supplied straw, into the recess you’ve developed, with a quick couple of bursts. Remove screwdriver. Give a few firm twists and pull away at the same time, hey presto.
When adding new grips spray a little WD40 or Hairspray if the Mrs (or Mr or teenage kids allow it…), into the grip and scrunch around a little and promptly squeeze the new grips on. The Hairspray will become sticky and dry OR WD40 will eventually evaporate.
If in any doubt use a suitable qualified cycle mechanic.
