This compass dated July 19th 1870 #7471.

Wet Compass is solid brass, is in gimbal and in good working condition.
Compass measures 7"across x 5"deep
Face of Compass measures 5 1/2"across.
Compass is signed and dated.

Binnacle and base made of brass.

Binnacle overall measures 28"tall x 17"wide x 13"deep.

Binnacle housing has glass face measuring 9 1/2"long x 6"tall.

Binnacle has two lamp holders on either side of housing.

Lamps are made of solid brass with two handles, no Fonts.

Base of Binnacle has ornate stand.

Compass is set in gimbal with one outer ring attached to binnacle housing.
