Handmade solid oak coat racks with oak Shaker pegs

These handmade Shaker coat racks have 2 1/2 inch oak shaker pegs with a deep authentic vintage finish. Assembled onto solid English Oak backs by craftsman who have pride and dedication in the products they produce. 

The outer edges are moulded to a stepped rounded profile to provide a traditional style that is complimented by a polished wax finish.

We use traditional craft techniques to hand make each item to the highest quality possible.

Fixings

Fixings supplied with these coat racks consists of screw holes covered with oak mushroom caps.

Coat racks are supplied with fixings for masonry wall construction.

Finishes

Racks are supplied a smooth sanded surface with the finish of  your choice. We are happy to supply the racks in either of the finishes below;

Standard wax finish being an antique vintage wax finish as shown in the product listing photograph

Plain with no finish to allow you to apply your own wax or paint finish

Natural wax finish that lifts the natural grain of the oak but retains the original colour

Custom finishes can be requested by stating your preference in the comments box when purchasing

A rugger brown wax finish that is a dark and heavy finish with an aged antique appearance

Jacobean wax that has a deep and almost black finish

Delivery

Each coat rack is manufactured to order so please allow 5 days for dispatch and 3 to 5 days for delivery.

Custom commissions
Should you require a custom coat rack based on this model then we are happy to accommodate your requirements. We supplied racks with modifications to the coat racks in terms of overall size, material, finish, moulding and number of hangers. It is also possible to supply racks with small, medium or large.

Examples of custom racks have included;

Specific lengths to suit returns between walls

Pegs at non-custom centres to suit other features in the room

Racks that return around external or internal corners of rooms
