Offered here is a pair of antique eye glasses or spectacles. These are made with a silver metal frame. The frame has narrow rims around the lenses, the ear loops have a light perforation to them so they bend with a light spring around the ear. The lens is a prescription with a magnification of about a 1 or 1.50. They are a small size for a child, measure; 4 1/4" wide across the front , 4" deep front to back of ear loop, about 1 1/2" high in front. These are super cute for large size dolls, shown here on a 29" American Character and a 34" German doll, (they need to be anchored in the hair or with a museum putty behind the ears). They come with an original case made of light brown leather. This is a metal case covered with leather, burgundy velvet lining inside, the top has a hinged closure, measures; 5 1/2, 2 1/4" wide, about 3/4" deep. Overall good condition with some vintage wear. Great little glasses, hard to find child size.
