The Telefunken 5654 is a "Premium" version of the 6AK5. It was designed for use in aircraft and is especially constructed to give superior performance under shock and vibration. The 5654 features a grid electrode treated to minimize grid-emission, a pure tungsten heater to yield a longer life. In addition each Telefunken tube has been subjected to rigid controls and rigorous tests during manufacturing to insure "Premium" quality. The 5654 made by Telefunken West Germany has high-transconductance, low inter-electrode capacitances, high input resistance, and high signal-to-noise ratio - - features contributing to the suitability of this tube for the ULTIMATE performance demanded by the astute audiophile.

The soundstage, detail, treble extension, and the extremely deep bass is the best I've ever heard! My sennheiser hd650's really are sounding incredible because of these beautiful tubes! I'm truly in audio nirvana! Thanks New York tube museum for these ultimate tubes! :-)
