This clip is used on some models to hold the bonnet stay rod when down. There is only one used per vehicle but they are available here as a pack of 2 so you have a spare. In the photo, one clip is shown with the centre pin pushed in. This is how the clip is held in place.

Some models may have different sized or styles of clip. Please check the picture before buying to ensure that this is the part that you need. Do not rely on Ebay's compatibility checker as there may be more than one type of clip used.
