The grommet is pushed into a cut hole in a metal part and allows a screw to be used to fix a separate part. These are used for fitting car grilles, lighting and numerous other parts which are fixed to the bodywork.

This grommet fits a hole of 10mm x 10mm and takes a screw size 8.
