A very fine German certified violin bow made by Henrich Knopf for  Bausch ca. 1862. Carl Heinrich Knopf was one of the greatest German bow makers. He made some wonderful bows for important shops of Bausch family and and Nikolai Kittel. This is a beautiful example in a fine state of preservation. The stick is dark red brown pernambuco, quite strong with a perfect flexibility, excellent sound and great handling.The length of the stick is 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 61 g.
