Vintage Kewtie Razor Blades - Circa 1930

1 Blade per offer

A woman's miniature double-sided razor, the Kewtie brand. The Kewtie was made by Lapin Products Inc., of New York City. A small woman's razor such as this would likely have been used for shaving the underarm. The fashion of removing underarm hair began around 1915 with the introduction of sleeveless or sheer-sleeved dresses.

As a footnote - I opened up one of the blades that showed rust (black) on the outside of the package and the blade was black.  I also opened up one that did not show rust and that blade was also black.  I am thinking that since these are 70+ years old that most of them will be darkened.  I could see "Kewtie" on the blade and "Made by Lapin". The package will display nicely, but the blade may/may not have as much eye appeal and definitely will not be useable. It is a little less than 1" long and about 1/2 wide.
