Beautifully Crafted Hand Made Damascus Steel Replica Gladius Sword
This sword is actually new but is being listed as used to highlight its imperfections. The blade is slightly skewed and not perfectly aligned with the handle. This can be viewed in the last four photos. Being sold at a big discount.
This high quality blade is comprised of 100's of layers of pattern welded high carbon steel (1084) and mild steel (WS1). The alternating layers of hard and soft impart a bit more flexibility and toughness to the steel than a solid homogeneous blade, and act much like serrations on the edge to aid in cutting. This is an absolutely gorgeous sword, you'll find none that can compare at this price. Since each piece is an individual work of art, the sword that you'll receive will vary slightly in Damascus blade pattern.
