This very finely drawn pencil view of Murano, Venice, Italy is by S Akehurst after the original by Clarkson Stanfield.

It is framed and is annotated at bottom left and signed at bottom right on the mount.     It dates circa 1840.

It is in fine condition with one small brown spot at top right.

 Size 4" x 6"(10cm x 15cm), the frame 8 1/2" x 10 1/2" (22cm x 27cm)
