Just discovered, Hendrickson's vast body of work from his estate includes all his original large format photographs ~ from 10x13 to 11x14 inches. This photo is one of his rare originals and includes his unique optical texturing & possibly some hand-drawn alterations.

The nostalgic sepia-tone prints of Rolland Hendrickson were a staple in thousands of American homes in the 1960s and 70s. His western period costume portraits and nudes were often displayed in weathered pine frames and hung conspicuously for house guests to admire. Hendrickson's images capture a light-hearted view of American life at mid-century.
