This is a comprehensive and authoritative history of Standard Cars and Commercial Vehicles and Standard built Triumph cars and the Leyland take over. It begins with the formation of the company by R W Maudslay and continues with all the models up to 1977 with the Triumph 2000 Mk II.  It includes the companies that used Standard and Triumph components SS cars, Avon, Jensen, Railton, Morgan, Lea Francis, Peerless, Warwick, Fairthorpe, Bond, Dove, TVR, Marcos etc.  It lists Production Models with dates and data, from 1903 to 1977.

It is well illustrated book with lots of black and white photographs of Standard cars and commercials, derivatives and post war Triumph cars.

It is in very good condition with a dust wrapper
