One of our most universal caster replacement kits - will fit the small stem hole design or large hole (when used with included bushing). Also included are 3 Ragland Piano exclusive shims, (.030", .060" and 1/8") made specifically for this style caster socket to help level the piano in the event shimming is needed to match other existing casters.  Very heavy duty, suitable to replace those used on the heavy pre Depression upright pianos, front or rear. 1 3/4" wheel diameter, 1" wide.  Mounting plate is approx 2 1/8" in diameter with a stem (the part that goes up into the piano) just under 5/8" in diameter (.60") and 1.5" long. Includes 1 bushing (.90" or about 15/16") for stem that allows installation in the larger hole style. Four 1.5" long size #10 wood screws included (most common size we use when replacing casters). Measures about 2 5/8" from the top of the mounting plate (not counting stem) to bottom of wheel.

A note about the bushing:  It is very important that there is no gap around the stem once inserted in the piano.  Any gap allows the stem to move when weight is applied to the caster, potentially breaking the joint between the caster plate and stem, allowing the caster wheel to drag on the underside of the piano.

I've been servicing pianos full time since I was 17 years old (33+ years) and have extensive experience having serviced/replaced casters on hundreds of pianos - antique uprights, spinets, consoles, studios, square grands, baby grands and grands.  I'm glad to answer questions about this product before or after the sale - my contact info is included in each shipment and you can also reach me through eBay.
