United States Commemorative Panels are true Americana, very collectible, and relatively unknown to collectors of Americana and even collectors of stamps.  They are issued by the United States Postal Service and printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington.

The first commemorative panel was released on September 20, 1972.  All panels are listed in Scott's catalog for United States stamps with their value which varies depending on the subject and how many were printed; however, I am selling my collection for the lowest average price and most are worth much more.   Since that first panel, over 1000 different panels have been issued, one for most all commemorative stamps for 40 years.

Each panel is in poster shape (8 1/2 x 11 1/4 inches) on hard poster board.   There are also raised engravings on each and every panel which are extremely well done and great art work.  For example, in the classic cars panel names of 8 different car brands are printed in raised engravings along with an engraving of an old style gas pump and a classic old car.

There is extensive text to explain the subject of each panel,  all of which make fascinating reading.  The panels are suitable for framing if desired or kept in an Americana collection or stamp collection   Each was sold individually on the day of issue, like a first day cover, and contains at least a block of four of the issued stamps.  Since they are mint, subtract their price from the cost of the panel because they are like cash!

This panel is #3406 in the series and was released on JANUARY 8, 1993, THE BIRTHDAY OF ELVIS PRESLEY.  It features a special tribute to Elvis on the occasion of his birthday with the release of a 29 cent Elvis stamp contained here in a block of four.  There are four 29  cent stamps honoring Elvis.  The stamps are mint stamps, never used, and have their full face value plus whatever catalog value they have today as being so old.  All commemorative panels are listed in Scott's stamp United States catalog and the values traditionally go up every year, especially for unique items such as these that were sold in limited quantities.

Each one is rare and a must have for your collection.  Buy ones that are of special interest depending on your collection of Americana or buy many to display.  They make great coffee table reading and viewing but keep them in their protective plastic to protect them and their value.

Like all stamp items, these can only go up in value and are good investments as well as fun, rare and unusual Americana.  These are hard to find and of utmost quality.  Just rubbing your hand along the engravings will please you with the exactness of the art and manufacture of these panels.  The postal service went all out to create something that will please collectors of stamps or memorabilia everywhere.

Shipping is in a hard cardboard to protect each panel.  Each commemorative panel is sealed in a protective plastic cover and is in pristine condition.

Shipping for the first item is $2.99.  More than one item ships for free no matter how many you buy.  After you pay shipping I will refund your shipping charges for multiple items through Paypal.

Thanks and God Bless.
