Featuring industry-standard focus gearing, de-clicked industry-standard aperture ring and side located aperture and focus scales. The lens completes an optical system based on superior optical technologies, and maintains excellent resolution both at the center and around the periphery of the lens by adopting a high performance Glass Molding ASP lens and Ultra Multi Coating.

Clear, Sharp Images

This lens is compatible with full-frame sensors and can also be used on APS-C sized sensors, where the 35mm equivalent focal length will be 56mm. The optical construction incorporates two high refractive index elements and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion to produce sharper imagery. Additionally, a UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images.

Compatibility with All DS Branded Lenses

Rokinon designed its DS lenses to offer the same alignment of their geared focus and aperture rings so that follow focus and other accessories won’t need re-adjustment when you swap out one DS lens for another. This consistency helps minimize downtime since all you have to do is swap lenses and you’re immediately ready to start shooting again. Each DS lens is also color matched to ensure uniformity of color and contrast when shooting video footage.
