(The 1939 Philatelic Truck Souvenir sheet is considered a forerunner) They wre produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) the United States Postal Service (USPS), the American Bank Note Company (ABNCO), and a few others to commemorate mainly philatelic and numismatic events Most are available in both mint and cancelled condition They vary in size with the largest being a litlle smaller than an 8.5 x 11 inch standard page. We are using the Brookman catalog as a guide, mainly because it values both mint and cancelled cards |
