The NEW CD includes the script to make the plate work with Mach3, detailed install instruction for installing the script into mach3, and details on how to connect the touch-off plate.
This device is a must have for any mill or Router or other cnc device with interchangable tools. Each time you change out a tool the length could be different and, as a result, the settings on your device will become inaccurate causing you to cut too deep or not deep enough. This is a way to save some grief and your mill or router surface.
After changing out tools you have two options: change your device settings manually and hope you got it right, or just simply have the device self center using this touch off plate. Each time you change a tool you can just have the tip lower onto this touch off plate and the resulting pressure from the tip will break the circuit running to the touch off plate.
This tool and proper running script will allow the machine to automatically calibrate for the new length.
Script may not be an easy concept to install in mach3, besides what we include, Mach support also has tutorials.
