Genuine OEM Scottoiler Black Plastic Injectors - 2 Per Pack.
Fits either vSystem (Vacuum) or
eSystem (Electronic).
This part attaches to
the end of the clear plastic PVC tubing (supplied separately) and delivers the
oil to the rear sprocket / chain. The 'slice' of the hard-black plastic
injector (where the oil comes out) should face outwards, away from the
sprocket.
The injector itself
(sometimes referred to as a nib because it bears a passing resemblance to an
old ink pen nib) should lightly graze the sprocket.
Injectors do last a long time, but if you are a member of the motorcycling elite who has a Scottoiler, it's always a good idea to have a couple of spares on-hand.
